How to Join the Indian Youth Congress Party
The Indian Youth Congress (IYC) is the youth wing of the Indian National Congress (INC), one of the oldest and largest political parties in India. Download the membership form. You can download the membership form from the official website of the IYC or from the Youth Congress Election Authority (YCEA) website. The form is available in PDF format and can be printed or filled online.
Fill the membership form. You need to provide your personal details, such as name, date of birth, gender, address, contact number, email id, educational qualification, occupation, etc. You also need to declare your allegiance to the INC and its ideology, and affirm that you are not a member of any other political party or organization. You need to attach a passport size photograph and a copy of your identity proof, such as Aadhaar card, voter ID card, PAN card, etc.
Submit the membership form. You can submit the membership form online through the IYC website or the YCEA website, or offline at your nearest IYC office. You need to pay a nominal membership fee of Rs. 5/- along with the form. You will receive a confirmation message and a membership number after your submission.
Participate in the elections. The IYC conducts internal elections at various levels, such as booth, block, district, state and national. You can contest for any post that you are eligible for, or vote for your preferred candidates. The elections are held through secret ballot and are supervised by the YCEA.
