Where To Buy Clancy's Popcorn

The Aldi take on white cheddar cheese popcorn is $1.49 for an 8.5-ounce bag, or about 17.5 cents an ounce. The packaging bears an uncanny resemblance to Smartfood White Cheddar Popcorn, which is sold at Amazon, Walmart, and Target. Smartfood White Cheddar runs between 40 and 50 cents an ounce depending on where you buy it, so Aldi has a pretty serious edge there.

Summer is finally here and that means munching on things like ice cream sandwiches, hot dogs, and buttery and delicious corn on the cob. But in case you can't be bothered with shucking and cooking up some corn for yourself, you can just snag a bag of this Aldi popcorn that people swear is the next best thing.

Instagrammer @theamazingaldi spotted bags of this Clancy's Roasted Sweet Corn popcorn (ya know, the Clancy's that also made dill pickle popcorn a thing? Yes, that same Clancy's). This popcorn is air-popped and dusted with roasted sweet corn seasoning for a whole new kind of snacking experience. People call it buttery and slightly sweet, which are both very good things!

And before you go rolling your eyes saying "wow, corn that tastes like corn, big whoop," let me tell you just how wrong you are. Orville Redenbacher makes bags of microwavable popcorn that taste like corn on the cob and it just hits differently somehow! I don't know how to explain it other than you just need to trust me and try it!

This popcorn is apparently a seasonal offering and people go searching for it every year, so I am clearly not the only one who loves a bit of corn-flavored corn. SO THERE. In case you're wondering, a bag costs around $2 depending on your location, so this is what I'd call a very low stakes investment...until you inevitably love it and want to buy a bag every week. Don't say I didn't warn you!

Fortunately, four of my co-workers and I did the research for you. As part of an ongoing INSIDER taste test series, we put five popular brands of microwave popcorn to the test to see which one will satisfy your snack cravings the most. In the past, we've sampled everything from pie crust to vanilla ice cream to cheap beer.

Costing me just $1.88 at Aldi for a 9 ounce bag, I'm giving Clancy's Ridged Cheddar & Sour Cream Potato Chips 3 out of 5 Bachelor on the Cheap stars. They're very reasonably priced, the chips have good flavor, a nice crunch and they hold up to dip well enough, but the visual appeal of the chips just isn't there and so they're not a repeat buy. I'm an Aldi fan, so this is a rare occasion where the discount brand doesn't measure up to a name brand product or even a store brand like Kroger - where you won't find so many black spotted chips.

Clancy's potato chips are manufactured in a variety of locations around the world. The company has manufacturing facilities in the United States, Europe, and Asia. Clancy's chips are made from potatoes that are grown in fields in Idaho, Washington, and Oregon. The potatoes are then shipped to the manufacturing facilities, where they are peeled and cut into thin slices. The potato slices are then fried in vegetable oil and seasoned with salt. The chips are then packaged and shipped to retailers.

With spy novels there is a tendency to divide writers into two groups: There are the literary John Le Carre types, with luscious prose that waxes on about brooding spooks and the like. And there are the popcorn-thrillers, like those by the late Tom Clancy, thin on character development but plump with plot.

Since the beginning of the COVID-19 event began, the world of #CanMaking has been very challenging in so many ways. It is hard to put this into perspective. I will try and bring everyone up to date on what we have seen and where #IndependentCan is going.

The third in Free Radical's flagship first-person shooter series, Future Perfect is the culmination of years of refinement on their current-generation engine. Perhaps more importantly, it's the premiere of TimeSplitters online, a feature that mysteriously slipped out of the excellent second version of the series. Featuring a solid 12-level single-player campaign, each level representing a different place in time, and a humungous amount of multiplayer modes -- offline and online -- Free Radical's popcorn-style FPS is fun, fast, and deep. The gameplay is simple at times, but the humor easily makes up for any puzzle complexity you feel is missing. What's more, the multiplayer is just as fun in four-player split-screen as Goldeneye 007 ever was, and it's equally fun offline as online. The list of extras, unlockables, and game modes is unmatched. Plus, the upgraded map editor enables you to make and trade maps online. We're up for it!

This star-studded version will feature Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Dolittle, the physician who discovers that he can talk to animals (and they talk back), Antonio Banderas, Michael Sheen, and boasts a voice cast of Emma Thompson, John Cena, Kumail Nanjiani, Octavia Spencer, Tom Holland, Craig Robinson, Ralph Fiennes, and Selena Gomez. Get your popcorn ready, this flick hits theaters on January 17!

Euan Morton brings the flavor of Thai to his narration, seamlessly putting on an accent where needed without distracting the listener. His tone and depth capture the shifting moods and show respect for the characters and culture to which he is giving a voice. In Bangkok Wakes to Rain, we walk through this city, meeting people for brief moments and never seeing them again, we watch them impact each other in ways we will never know, we wonder about ghosts that might not exist. If that makes you uncomfortable, so will this audiobook. But if that makes you want to dive in and explore, you will have plenty to discover. 041b061a72
